Masala Lemon Rice

How to prepare masala lemon rice - This is the one of the South Indian famous morning Tiffin for Ofiice workers and school students.

What are the ingredients are needed for Masala Lemon rice.

The Ingredients are 


  1. Rice  2 cups
  2. Potatoes 1
  3. Tomatoes 1
  4. Green Chillies  8
  5. Ground nuts 1 handful
  6. Lemon 2
  7. Dry draksha 10 (raisins )
  8. Masala powder 2 table spoons
  9. Turmeric 1 teaspoon 
  10. Cashew nuts  10
  11. 1 Ghee  2 table spoons
  12. Salt  to taste
  13. Brinjal 1
  14. Oil - 2 table spoons
  15. Onions 2



Method of preparing Masala Lemon rice 
     
          Wash rice add 4 1/4 cups of water and pressure cook in cooker , cut all the vegetables in square shape, keep aside.

Take oil in a pin and keep for seasonings add little musturd seeds when they splutter add Bengal gram dhal 1 table spoon black gram dhal - 1 tea spoon, ground nuts when they all roasts a little add vegetables when they are done add green chilies paste tomatoes, slat, masala powder,turmeric and lemon juice. Remove from fire allow the mixture to coll put rice over it allow the rice to cool down in a broad pan else rice will be broken if you mix it when it is hot.

Variation : Even you can use fresh green peas, beans, carrots instead of brinjal and potatoes.
